Object cache on from day one

Managed WooCommerce Hosting

A shop is not a blog. Cart, checkout and My Account can never be page-cached, so every one of those hits runs PHP — which is why these plans are built around the object cache and PHP workers rather than around storage.

Same platform as our WordPress plans, sized differently. A shop needs PHP workers and an object cache far more than it needs disk, so that is where the money goes.
Why a shop is not a blog

Every checkout runs PHP. There is no way around it.

WooCommerce sets a cookie the moment somebody puts something in a basket, and from then on every page that visitor sees has to be built fresh. Cart, checkout and My Account can never be cached at all. That is the whole reason these plans exist.

Two to five times the PHP workers

A worker builds one uncached page at a time. On a shop, every logged-in visitor and every step of checkout needs one — so the WooCommerce Starter gets 10 where the WordPress Starter gets 4.

Object cache, already on

The database queries WooCommerce repeats on every uncacheable page are answered from memory instead. It is switched on when your store is created, not left as a plugin for you to configure.

Cart and checkout excluded from page cache

Set up correctly at the server, before you ever see the site. Nobody has ever been shown another customer's basket because of a caching rule we wrote.

Staging that copies the orders too

Test a plugin update against a real catalogue and real order data, then publish it over the live store — with one click back if the update turns out to be the bad kind.

SSL on every domain, renewed for you

A shop without a padlock does not take payments. Certificates are issued the day DNS points here and renewed without you thinking about it.

Mailboxes for order mail

orders@, support@, returns@ — real IMAP mailboxes on your own domain, with webmail, so order notifications are not coming from a free address.

Nightly backups, kept 30 days

On every WooCommerce plan, not just the big one. A shop that loses a week of orders has lost a week of its accounts as well.

Malware scanning, quarantined not deleted

Card-skimming code goes into WordPress through a plugin far more often than through a server. Every account is scanned on a schedule and anything found is moved aside for you to look at.

We move the shop, including the orders

Send us the old host's login. We rebuild it here, you check the catalogue and the checkout on a temporary address, and only then does DNS move.

Where your site runs

Four locations. You pick the one nearest your readers.

Distance is latency, and latency is the part of "slow website" no amount of caching removes. Choose the region when you order, and your WordPress runs there — not in whichever datacentre a reseller had space in.

  • India Mumbai IND
  • Singapore Singapore SG
  • USA East New York US
  • Europe Frankfurt EU

Every region runs the same hardware, the same NVMe disks and the same PHP. The only thing that changes is how far the packets travel.

Where shops actually go wrong

A shop does not get slow gradually. It gets slow on the busiest evening.

Every WooCommerce store is fine at three visitors. What matters is the night your ad works.

Workers are the number that runs out

When every worker is busy building a checkout page, the next visitor waits in a queue. On a blog that almost never happens because pages are cached. On a shop it is the normal case, which is why these plans are sized around workers first.

The object cache takes repeated queries away

WooCommerce asks the database the same questions over and over on pages it cannot cache. With the object cache on they are answered from memory, and the database is left to do the work only it can do.

Test the plugin update before it takes the shop down

Staging copies your real catalogue and your real orders. Update there, click through a checkout, and only then publish. If it goes wrong anyway, one click puts the old store back.

Somebody who will actually look

When a checkout breaks you do not want a ticket number. Live chat reaches a person who can log into the server your store is on and read the PHP error log with you.

Free migration

We move your website. You stay online while we do it.

Zero downtime, zero data loss, zero stress. Your old host keeps serving visitors until the moment you decide to switch over.

Pick a plan

Choose the plan and the region, and create your account. Nothing happens to your live website at this point.

Ask us to move it

Open a ticket with your old host's login, or upload a backup yourself from the panel — UpdraftPlus, All-in-One WP Migration, Duplicator, BackWPup or plain files and a database export all work.

Look at it before you switch

We rebuild the site here and give you a temporary address to check it on. Nothing about your live site has changed yet.

Change the DNS

When you are happy, point the domain at us. That is the only moment anything moves, and SSL is issued automatically as soon as it does.

Most sites are done inside 24 hours and a simple blog is often a few hours. If your site is broken or has malware in it, tell us — we fix that as part of the move rather than handing it back to you the way we found it.

There is a person here, and they know WordPress

Not a call centre reading a script. Whoever answers you can also log into the server your site is on. English or Hindi.

Questions

WooCommerce hosting questions

Why is this more than the WordPress plan for the same number of sites?

Because a store costs us more to run. A blog serves most of its pages from cache without ever starting PHP; a store cannot cache cart, checkout or My Account at all, so those pages run PHP every single time. You are paying for PHP workers, memory and an object cache, not for extra disk.

Will you set WooCommerce up for me?

We install WordPress and WooCommerce, switch on the object cache and make sure cart and checkout are excluded from the page cache. Your products, your payment gateway and your theme are yours — but if something on the hosting side is fighting you, ask on chat and we will look.

How many orders a day will Starter take?

There is no honest single number, because one shop's checkout runs three plugins and another runs thirty. As a rough guide, Starter is comfortable for a store doing tens of orders a day; if you are doing hundreds, start on Growth. You can move up at any time without moving the site.

Do you cache the shop pages at all?

Catalogue and product pages, yes — those are the same for everyone until something is in the basket. The moment WooCommerce sets its cart cookie, that visitor stops being served from cache. That is deliberate and it is how it has to be.

Can I run a store and some blogs on the same plan?

Yes. The site count is just websites — mix stores and ordinary WordPress sites however you want. If most of them are blogs, the WordPress plans will be better value.

Do you take payments or handle PCI for me?

No, and neither does any host that tells you otherwise. Your payment gateway handles the card details — Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, whatever you use. What we do is keep the server patched, the traffic on SSL, and the site scanned for anything that should not be there.

Move your store across free

Catalogue, customers and orders. Your current shop keeps taking orders until you are happy with the copy running here.
