What these terms cover

HostCrafter MCP Server is a WordPress plugin, free to download and use, licensed GPL-2.0-or-later like every WordPress.org plugin. To connect AI apps to your site it uses an MCP service run by HostCrafter at mcp.hostcrafter.com. The service is HostCrafter’s own software, not open source, and free to use under these terms, which cover it. By pressing Connect this site in the plugin you accept them.

If your site is hosted at HostCrafter and connected from the HostCrafter panel, our terms of service apply as well.

Who may use it

You may register a site if you administer it, or have its owner's permission to connect it. The site must run WordPress over HTTPS.

We may refuse or remove a registration from a domain, a domain ending or an address that has been used for abuse, without giving a reason in advance.

The free allowance

Each registered site may take part in up to five connections (a sixth is refused until one is removed), with up to 500 tool calls in 24 hours, counted from the first call and by the site’s address, up to 60 a minute, and one at a time. Removing the site and connecting it again does not start a new allowance. A connection unused for 30 days is removed, and so is a site that has not checked in for 90 days. We may change these limits; the current ones are shown on the plugin page.

What you are responsible for

• What you allow. Each connection does what its permissions allow, always within an editor’s rights on your site. Changes an AI app makes through a connection you created are changes you authorised.
• Keeping secrets private. A connection's address (for No sign-in) or token is the key to it. Anyone holding it can use what the connection allows until you revoke it.
• Approving sign-ins. Approve a sign-in only for an app you just added yourself.
• The AI app. The app you connect has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to what you send it.

What you may not do

Do not use the service to reach sites you do not administer, to send spam, to attack or overload any system, to get around its limits, or for anything our acceptable use policy forbids. We may suspend a site or connection that does, at once.

The service as it is

The free service is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We may change, pause or end it; where we can, we will say so on the plugin page first.

To the extent the law allows, HostCrafter is not liable for loss arising from your use of the free service, including changes made to your site through a connection you created. Keep backups of your site.

Ending

You can stop at any time: revoke connections in HostCrafter MCP, remove the site under HostCrafter MCP → Settings, deactivate the plugin and choose Revoke everything, or delete the plugin — each takes the site off the service at once. We may end a registration that breaks these terms.
